I'll not coddle the kid.

So, you went cheap and gave Aamco all the parts but went cheap with the throw out bearing.....Did you ask ANYONE about this clutch swap or did you wing it thinking you knew better than most....

Have you apologized to your mom for what you said about her? I really could care less about the rest, but talking disrespectful about your Mom when she is the one trying to help you....well...that really is indefensible.

You see a lot of guys out there wrenching on their ride and building sweet cars....and you want a nice ride like they have....but you didn't take auto mechanics in high school nor have you signed up for a continuing education in a trade/tech school.

But when you make a sophomoric mistake like not replacing a $40 bearing while the clutch is out...these issues of no training come to light.

Now, let's be clear, I'm not really bagging on you for not having training.....we've all made mistakes due to being weekend warriors with a wrench....But a Man would never point to his Mom as the problem when he made the mistake.

Then to further the issue, when these other Men on the forum point out how ridiculous you sound, more blaming (of others) gets handed out.

First it was Aamco, then it was your Mom, then it was the mean guys on this forum.......

Wow.....

Very well put.... This forum is made up of several different types. But we all have the same love and interest for corvettes. I for one wasn't digging on the kid, how old is he anyway? I was just making my own statement that he brings a bit of humor to a place where everybodys open game. Good luck in the real world kid.
