I find beer works well, along with alot of patience. I guess I just don't get in a hurry anymore.
I love the commercial idea. Frizzle, you should be in pictures.
I think there is more than Beer drinking over there to come up with the ideas you have.
Well damn son, you had me fooled. Your spelling, sentence structure, punctuation....all of it....has improved vastly. You pulled one over on this ol' dawg .
New Belgium Brewing Co. in Ft. Collins Colorado. I'm unsure of how far out they market it. If you like an amber ale, it's good stuff. Guaranteed to make changing a water pump more tolerable.
Too bad it doesn't make it out here to the right coast... I've got a sh**load of parts waiting to be installed. I could use a new brand of liquid courage to put a little wind in my sails.

Will here what you do.
1: buy a 18 pack with cooler. (any beer will do as long as it is not light)
2: get some good rock n roll going. (like REO Speed Wagon)
3: get started (invite some friends or someone kid who wish to one day work on cars)
PS.
Make sure the kid is 21 or older before giving beer.
Glad your up and running again without any major problems.
How about a dead battery in a gate parking lot, and I'm only a 1/4 mile from where I work. Now here is the real kicker, I was having two problems. One being no one answering there phone at 1:23 am. Two When someone did answer they did not have Jumpers.
OK that is all a cake walk. This is the really real kicker, I was on the wrong side of the road to break down. Bad area to be in period.
If it wasn't for bad luck you wouldn't have any luck at all. A dead battery at 1:30 in the morning is bad enough and throw in a bad location and you have a real mess on your hands. Glad everything work out in the end.
A water pump/Opti replacement was my first initiation to the wonderful world of Corvettes. My C3's ('79) heater core has sprung a leak - I've bypassed the heater core for now but am planning to rebuild the heater/AC plenum and replace all of the dry-rotted vacuum hoses.
That promises to be a job almost on the scale of replacing a C4's heater core...
And I do live in Fort Collins, a scant 3 miles away from New Belgium Brewing company. Liquid re-inforcements are always just one refigerator away for me,
I better, I am disarray_kid after all. I hope everyone noticed I'm spelling better.
There is no possible way.....one FACT that disproves this claim....You never said that it was your Mothers fault that the alternator was never hooked up....

Two water pumps on the 93 LT1, Kept one of the cores and just purchased a rebuilding kit so I always will have a rebuilt one in stock.
2 optisparks on the 93 LT1.
2 heater cores on the 93 LT1
The heater core went south on the 92 LT1 I just got, 2 weeks ago on the night I was driving it home. The smell of Prestone was un-mistakable, the fogging windshield in 95 degree weather was a dead give away as well. Put in a by-pass but bought the core.
And now the AC has turned into an auxillary heater on the 92.
I don't usually drink alcoholic beverages, prefer Coke Classic, however when I'm ready to do the heater core on the 92 I think I'll send the "Kid" out for a 6 pack or two.

I too live a few miles from there (closer to the Denver Metro area) but Fat tire is the Bomb.. Also try Blue moon, Its a coors product but very similar to Fat tire. You guys should see what new belgium brewing does at lunch time, EVERYONE gets on a a bicycle and rides around town..pretty much every day. I did some Private investigation work at that location and I was unprepared for that part of it..
