Default weatherstripping

I purchased an after market weather stripping on Ebay, but having much difficulty. Its very thick and doesn't fit well. I still get dripping from corners on both front sides. can anyone tell me the best weather stripping and where I can purchase. I'm in Boca Raton, Fl.

takovr. did you have to modify the stripping anywhere?

I bought my weatherstrip from Keen Parts. They're also a forum vendor. The weatherstrip fit perfect. Here’s a link:

Stop by your local hardware or plumbing supply store and buy a tube of this. Apply with your fingers. It'll keep your weatherstrip moist and prevent dryness and cracking.

I just repainted my 88 C4 and also replaced the weathershipping a few months ago. I bought mine from corvetteamerica and like yours, the front windshield piece only lasted a couple of months before breaking down and cracking showing the cheap green foam underneath. Really ticked me off badly!!!!!

But, Corvetteamerica did say that I could remove the weatherstripping and send it to them so they could look at it and warranty it. So I'm thinking that sounds alright and strip the car down and not use it until they get back to me.......Right!

Just beware and get the companies to tell you which weatherstrip you get...cause they "told" me there were two kinds they sell...."premium" and "crap" of course they didn't use the word "crap"....but it meant the same.... So apparently I somehow got the "crap kit" and wasn't aware of the kind when it was ordered.
