My mind is still not fully made up when it comes to body kits on C4s. For the vast majority, specifically on otherwise stock cars, I don't like them. For a kit to work I think the whole car has to go with the "theme". On the same note I am not a fan of wings that are there for looks. However, there are a few that I have seen on here that I like the looks of, and I am personally partial to a certain red and white one...
BTW... I'm still looking for a Greenwood G383 wing (like the one in the last pic) if anybody knows of one for sale.

I have 2 91 zr-1s in my garage right now. One of them has the full greenwood kit the other is plain. It is amazing how much of a difference the kit makes. I bought the car and thought I would eventually take the kit off but it has grown on me. I like most all corvettes I see!

So I have to have pictures to state an opinion? I just got this project but I did up a nice TransAm with tasteful mods. I have yet to dig into the C4. But I assure you I wont be putting cheesy body kits on it.
I will thanks. Performance is top priority so I will keep my "boring vette" the way it is. Tacked on kits don't do **** for me. Many people here agree. Your a lone wolf in this opinionated discussion.

Maybe you need to reread the thread if your saying I am the "lone" person who likes them. There are only like 10 people that have them on their cars in this thread alone.
This is the sh$t I cant take with owning a C4 they are so inexpensive you get every jerk like Steve Sanders able to afford one. I think it is time to upgrade to a C6. They seem to have more class and don't bash people for owning a vette with a body kit. I am beginning to hate C4s due to some of the low lives like Steve Sanders that own them.

Up town that is hot. I have though and though about ground effects but I just dont think they would look right with my blue. As an opinion I did not see one car on this post where they looked tacked on or tacky. It is each its own but every car on the post looks nice. I have not been on this form as long as most but ottawabarber seems right seems like a few new guys and even ones without vetts come out slamping. I hope I never gave this impression I really do. For the most part a great bunch of guys on here and honestly this form has keep me from going crazy over the last year. Keep the flames, stripes, wings, ground effect coming it is what you like and want lets see pictures give other ideals

That is exactly right. There is not one Corvette here with a body kit that looks tacked on. It does seem like these noobs that talk crap and do not even have anything to show. Why even bother. I come here to talk and see other cars and to see what others are doing with their vettes and get help, not to make fun or bash someone. All I know is that I got a beautiful vette and I love it, even if I was on my hands and knees working on it, which to me, is a big part of restoring a vette, not because I cant afford to make payments on new vette and not be able to make mods which breaks the warranty and not able to say its mine.
The reason I like ground effects is because I love how it looks when the closer to the ground when driving, to me, it give the car a cooler and more full body effect. It give my car a little extra style that I felt it was missing. I liked body kits since I was young. Maybe it is a New York thing. I am from Brooklyn and all the Italians use to put them on their cars and I like, no one else has too.
And for Steve Sanders to say I fail in life I do not think so. I am in law school now. That is far from failing in life.

Speak for yourself you own C4 because you can't afford anything newer. If you could you would buy one. Don't confuse my financial situation with yours. A body kit can be had used for $200. A bodykit and spoiler on a C4 makes you the Donald trump of C4's? LOL. You have $150 rims and a $200 body kit - Nice pics! If you had so much cash you wouldn't be on your hands and knees sanding your own car down.
