Default Lumbar Bladder Replacement

Does anyone have pictures or know of a site to see how to remove the lumbar bags for a 1993. I have the new bladders, just want to make sure I know how to do this before the replacement goes south. Can't be that difficult. Thanks in advance.

Take the seat back out of the car, remove the hog rings and reach up into the cushion and pull out the old bladder, whats left of it anyway. The new bladder has a provision at the top to slip a rod through it,as did the old bladder but to do this the seat cushion has to come completely apart. It all depends how far you want to rip this thing apart,I didnt want to do this so I just slipped the new bladder into the seat cushion. You only need to remove enough of the hog rings to get the old bladder out.To get the seat back out will test your patients. There are some clips in the seat back that the rods in the cushion slip into.Your welcome.

So what is "I'm asking for info, not a box of popcorn." mean?

Sounds sarcastic to me!!!

BTW I don't need a lecture on what this forum is all about.

The pop is like Mr. Peabody said, he would like to learn or to hear about it.

To remove the air bag/bladder you have to unzip the seat cover and work your way around it.

I hope the pictures help you out.

I think 94 was the first year for the zipper,90-93 has the full cover held on with hog rings and rods.To get the seat cushion out of the seat back is a total pain in the ***,putting it back is worse.

Oh shoot, I didnt know that. Yes, that sounds very challenging. I said it many times and I say it again. I think GM hired engineers for the C4 with a 1.85 GPA. Even Gordon Kilbrew told me at the NCM once " I dont know WTF they were thinking"
