AC Display Blank
Hey guys, proud new owner of a '96 C4 but i could be happier. When you drive around in 100 degree weather, AC becomes a necessity. Here's a little diagnosis of the situation: First, my AC display lights up, but it is blank. I have no control over it, cant turn up the fan, change the temp, etc. Which leads me to the second factor; the AC IS blowing out of the Defrosters and Down at the feet. I had changed the Unit itself, with a unit the exact same, but they both come up with this blank screen and defrost/feet on. So I assume it has something to do with bad wiring in the car. Is there anyone who has had this problem before that can confrim this, or someone who is a little more electrically inclined than I that can suggest a better solution? Thanks.

Okay now its going all kinds of crazy. My Radio no longer works, when i try to turn it on, it makes a horrible static noise, followed by a loud pop and the lights to every display turn off. Also sometimes when i start to roll down the windows my back hatch will release, while driving at that. Kinda scary, any ideas for fixes for this what seems to be "possessed" car?

I'm having a little problem with the control on my 87. I figure it's in the control panel. The stuff you got going on, well my guess would be that only a computer could foul up that much stuff. I have no idea where it is but it's gotta be a computer.
