Help Identifying a front spring please.
Today while picking up some trim parts for a customers car at a local pick-n-pull yard I found a C4 chassis. It's very striped and bare. The only thing I can tell about it is:
:It's Non-Convertible.
:It's been hit in the rear.
:It's an 91-96 model (crash bars and dash)
:It was a 6-speed. (hole in floor and D44 (busted))
And
: It was Black.
Other then that, She's a complete mystery.
Now here is where I need your help.
I found a front spring wrapped in brown shipping type paper laying in the interior. It looks to be in very good condition if not un-used. However it is possible it was removed from the car, cleaned and packaged to ship but never did. Who knows.
But the best part is it was only $10.
My 94 has the soft, base suspension, And Ive been thinking about swapping the spring out with a more stiff OEM spring wile I have my spring removed wile lowering it. This spring I picked up today will be perfect IF it is the right spring rate.
The spring says the date 11/15/95 and "41047" on it.
Are they any possible way to tell what the spring rate or type of spring this is?
Thanks!

Link don't help much. How do I know what the ID code means? Are they a list somewhere ?
