ECE projectors slant down and to the right to prevent blinding other drivers. The cutoff design is nearly identical. I tried ECE projectors early in my project, but in the end I went with Hella 60mm because they were DOT and glass lense. Most modern headlights are acrylic for cost reasons.

I just received the newly design shims to mount the new aluminum brackets. They were designed to allow the offset which is necessary to use the longer adjusting springs. I am on vacation this week, so it will take about two weeks to update the instructions. For everyone that needs the new shims, they are already in the mail.
