Don't blame Melody. Blame our glorious public education system (apologies to those in education who bust their *** teaching kids despite swelling classes and shrinking budgets)
Thank you Melody. I'll take a heart of gold over poor spelling/grammar any old day.

Being raised on corvettes, I Noticed right away this would be a problem.
I went to the customer and told him to get the replacement parts and we would repay him for the parts. This is a normal thing done by our crew in TLE.
He was very level headed and was pleased with the outcome. He even got us a deal on the parts.
Just wanted to say thank you to him.

Melody, thanks for posting. The gang is going to cream you for that post, (as has already begun), but I know you probably think faster than you type
Guys- Melody is a very nice lady and a good manager at WM, and a 2nd generation member. Her father was a member here, passed away. That's his 40th she's showing in her avatar, that is now hers. He was vetteseniorcit- hence she has added 'baby'. He was quite active here http://forums.corvetteforum.com/sear...rchid=19596870
Welcome to C4 Gen Melody- hope we can be of some help whenever you need it.
(background- was getting the old baldass tires removed off my wagon wheels on the C5 so I could retrieve my TPMS when one of the tire guys broke it trying to get the tire off. He was successful on the other 3, just one of those things). I was getting a bit of a runaround from the tech and the Service Manager, so I went walking the store and found Melody (Asst.Mgr) on an aisle working her butt off. She immediatly stopped what she was doing and wrapped her arms around the situation. Took care of it like a pro. ).
hey, sh*t happens. Glad to hear that they manned up (or womaned up, as the case may be) and took responsibility. There's probably a ton of places that would have just said "that's how it was when I got it". Nice job Melody, and welcome!
By the way, commas and periods are our friends!

Melody.....welcome (back) to our (usually dysfunctional) family. Good job on handling the situation at work. Now go write 50 times on the chalkboard "I will use punctuation in the future on the forum"
