heater diagnostics question
I'm having trouble with the heater on my '86 C4. I'm trying to find out why my heater fan doesn't run. I run the diagnostic Mode with "rear defrost" and "Manual up" button and can get the mode numbers to show up. I use the "Warmer" button to advance the mode number. It then says to "display the contents of any mode by pressing the Coder button." But it doesn't say what the "Coder" button is. Anybody know about the "Coder" button?
I've gone through all the fuses including the 5a one under the hood. I'm afraid the problem is the Blower Control Module. Any suggestion about where I could find one if that's what it turns out to be?

I believe the module is available, but can't say where, off the top of my head. Maybe the search engine can find a lead.
