I suspect same but really need year and conditions,(engine cold/hot etc).....

Engine revving
Put a new engine in my C4 and a new transmission a year ago. it was running perfect, now all of a sudden at idle the engine seems like it is hunting. Also not shifting correct now. Not throwing any codes. Anyone ever have this problem before

89 with tv cable-cable checks out good,I replaced all the vacume hoses when I installed the new engine. Started it earlier, at idle it revs high to low-when i give it gas it stalls.No computer codes still

try hooking up vacuum guage-how many inches of mercury does it pull? 13 to 16 is good and should be steady with stock cam..
