My brother has a new wild hair.

The Vette looks clean from the "s#itty pictures" they provide. I think he can get it out for $5,500 OBO.

I love the "Targa Roof"...special
It doesn't have the "40th Anniversary" emblem on the fender but, that's OK.
Optispark? Thats the LT1 engine landmark, just like the axle oil leak is the C5's one

Ask for CarFax and maintenance records.
Don't be concerned about the Opti.
Paint and interior are expensive items to address.
Check date codes on tires.
See if there is a CF member that is knowledgeable in your area to take a look at it with your brother.
From the pics and information given it looks pretty clean.
Never pay asking price.

it appears this car has the dynamic suspension......*** in center of council. That could be very expensive if something goes wrong. Looks like a nice car otherwise. Carfax is important.....I tend to stay away from cars that have 7 plus owners....who knows whats been done to them....a 2 or 3 owner cars always seem to have less issues. Good luck

The carfax on my 90 said it had 5 owners when in fact there were only 2. The PO lived around St Louis and he moved across the river to illinois and then back and then he took the car to his second home and had it registered to his wife.
Long story short carfax said 5 owners but he showed me all the registrations to prove it.
Moral of the story............hang on to all your old registrations guys.

Almost the same car as mine and the same mileage. If the car is in good shape that's not a bad deal. My 93 has had a few small problems like any car that old but has been a very reliable car besides being a lot of fun to drive. Hope this works out for for your brother and if does tell him to get on here and let us know.
