Congrats on the sale. Is the new owner a CF member?
I wonder how you got $5,000 for a 1992 Corvette with a great looking paint job, SMOG legal, LT1 engine and chromed wheels but, there is a 84 Vette on craiglist for sale and looks like baby's waste, will not pass SMOG and they are asking $4,000.
I have to admit I've thought about selling the 93 and putting a SC (or other mods) on the C6 but I do love the C4 so the 383 build continues. We all have choices to make. Good luck on yours. What are you planning for the C6?
Yep he drove away in the rain. He loves the car. He came down on the train from LA. I advised him to join the forum. He needs to get his butt kicked by all you wonderful dudes.
It was a very good car. Always ran reliable.
I don't know what it is about C4s. You can hardly give these things away. A C4 especially 91-96 has one of the nicest styles. To the market the C4 generation got a bad rap and has been cursed.
It's a mystery to me.
Currently I have no plans for the C6. I learned through a VIN search it's a fully loaded C6Z51. The vin search said it has a multi-CD changer in it, heated seats and a bunch of other things.

Seems to be more of a forum thing to me. The dealer that i bought my vette from(he deals strickly in corvettes)can't keep these things on his lot, he deals in clean low mileage(under 100,000 miles)corvettes and asks $10,000 and over for C4's and they sell as fast as he gets them.
You won't regret it! After full porting and a tune, I view C5s and C6s (except the ZR1) as "prey" (heh, heh, heh...)
Goto the ZR-1 Net Registry and check it out. Join the "Brotherhood of the Beast"!

Obviously you have never really got on a C5 ZO6. A stock ZO6 will blow the doors off of a C4 ZR1. Many, Many modified C5 ZO6s out there sporting 400 hp to the rear wheels naturally aspirated. Then there are the supercharged C5 ZO6 sporting as much as 700 hp at the flywheel. Go hunting for a C5 ZO6 with your C4 ZR1. You'll get your butt handed to you on a platter.

The late C5Z06s could just take a ZR1 stock for stock early ones would be in the rearview of the ZR1. btdt
