Although i didn't know your dad, we are a corvette community that sticks together.
Let me add my sympathies to those already so eloquently expressed. As a newcomer to the forum, I already had developed respect for Jake, as one who knew his stuff and did not mince words.
The best of wishes to you and your family as you cope with this tragic loss.

Aw jeez. It really hurts to lose one of the good guys here.
My prayers are with you and your family.
Can you post a picture of him? All I have ever seen is the one in his avatar.
I know he was always damn proud of you.
So Sorry to hear of this. In the past he and I PM'ed on different things but I seem to recall he was very proud of you and your accomplishments.. God Speed to you and your family
I'm very very sorry to hear this, when i clicked the thread something told me
something was not right, he always was present on my engine threads giving good advice
he was a good one here, he will be missed !
He always said "West Point Rocks" that always got my attention.
My condolences to you and your family
Sorry to hear the news. My prayers are with you and your family! Your father raved about you on this forum, it didn't take much reading to know how proud of you he was. Like previously posted anything we can do to help out just ask.
Ryan, I'm very sorry to hear about your dad and will keep your family in my prayers. I don't know your dad, but I do know he is extremely proud of you and has spoken often about your project vette. If you read enough of his posts, you'd think he was the one who graduated West Point! There's plenty of help right here on the forum, if you have any questions.
Ryan, I am sorry to read this, I can relate to your feelings, my Mother died from a brain aneurism, (sp?) also. I've never felt so helpless as I did then. Take care.
