I too was one of the recipients of your father's sage advice. He will be missed on this side of the world also. Ryan please take consolation in the fact that you have the kind of relationship with your father that many of us did not and never could develop. That is worth so very much. There is a song by Mike and the Mechanics that sums up the feelings many of your father and my generation experienced with our fathers because of different sentiments and ideas that society put on us and our fathers. Many of us envy your relationship with Jake. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

It's always sad to loose one of our Corvette brothers and especially when it's someone who has given so much time helping others. Prayers for your family.

Ryan.
I just discovered this thread right now! I spoke to your father a few times, and have enjoyed reading his posts because of his passion.
I am deeply sorry, and I truly mean that from my heart.
Your father will be missed among the C4 guys!
Rick.

My thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time. I know it must be very difficult, but at least you will have your vette as a permanent reminder of your Dad. He'll be riding shotgun every time you take that vette out.
