They will bolt up just fine, as the bolt pattern is the same.
I am not sure about the wheel offset though, but for just getting your car home they should work.

If you have the j55 brakes - they won't clear the 16" rims!
Are you near Atlanta? I have some 92 Sawblade rims that I need to get rid of.

Good point, and I completely overlooked that.

Look in the console for a sticker with RPO codes on it.
If its not there check the lids on the rear storage bins.
Can't find it - measure the diameter of one of the front rotors.

Good luck!

My son had an 87 IROC and I had an 86 Vette at the same time. We were looking at both cars in the driveway (this was several years ago) and were commenting on how the backspace on the IROC's wheels made it look like those wheels would not fit on the Vette. We did not actually try to do this but it did look like that if the IROC wheel was installed on the Vette that the tire/wheel would hit the suspension.
Go to a Discount Tire store and ask them. They have all these stats in their computer and can tell you quickly about any fitment issues.
As an alternative you could purchase a used set of C4/C5 wheels and tires from a local Craigslist site. These are readily available in most major metropolitan areas.

I used to use a set of 94 F-body rims on the rear of my 91 for drag tires. They fit in the rear no problem, but I never tried them on the front.
