@RedLS1 - Any pics of that red C4 in your avatar? I like the white stripe look. Curious how it would look with black wheels...

Now back to the hatin'. J/K

I had heard hub centric as well, and was looking to clarify if I needed them or not and what the difference was that I was missing. You have all been helpful in posting exactly what I thought.

"Because somebody told me" is not proof of anything other than the fact that they were wrong too.
They kinda did by showing me photos of adapters that were hub-centric and non hub-centric. The non hub centric were broken apart. So I went with hub-centric. I do not know what the big deal is anyway. It is only $10. I felt more comfy with hub-centric, let me live. Jesus.

You are definitely 100% HATER.

LS1, why are you using adapters? isnt your car late offset? Do you use them to get more track width?
Thanks

I guess go with the non hub centric adapters. All the people that told me hub centric adapters are better were wrong. However, I do not feel like I made the wrong choice. I was just trying to help. Good luck.

I don't have adapters on the car at all now. It has in the past to allow for wheels with a different offset to get clearance for 315s on the front.

I have learned 3 things from this thread:

1. Hub-centric may or may not be needed depending on who you talk to.

2. uptown193's definition of "hater" is anyone who does not agree with him.

3. RedLS1GTO's Vette is a bad azz looking vette. (well, I already knew that)

I think I would have to agree. That is a sick looking Vette. I really like the white stripe on the red with the white stripes above the front wheel too. Of course anything with ground effects and a hood scoop looks good too! Well done, sir!
