Default Coolflex Installed!

Hey folks,
Coolflex upper radiator hose. Really nice stuff. Install took about 20 minutes. Took the car out for a nice long (fast) drive and rechecked the fittings... nice and tight. Sorry for the image quality... must be excited. What ya think?

Peace.
Stephen

I have similar ones installed for years. I don't see how they would leak except for the small amount of rubber at the clamps. Guess that is their weak spot.

looks great. I just bought one from summit only it was red. I am a little hesitant to use it though. It's all aluminum and I thought it just slid over the existing hose but it is the actual hose. I am just paranoid about a leak and frying my opti. Let's see how this works for you, looks like you don't have to worry about the opti though.

No leaks at all. I used the metal hose because the end is adaptable to different radiator/intake/water pump sizes.

Got tired of buying new hose every time some parts changed.

That hose is the real deal.. been to their shop many times since im building one of their T-bucket kits. Can't get better stuff. Made in the USA..

The summit hoses are Chinese...

I installed a blue kit. I actually did it because for some reason the pressure was collapsing my upper hose. it was a cheapo AC Delco type of thing, so it need to be replaced. I only did the upper hose, but I like the look so much I'm going to do the lower... as soon as I get my car out here.

I like these a lot but MAN are they expensive. If I do the upper, lower and heater hoses with the polished ends the money spent woulda been a good start at rebuilding my engine.
