Get over it! Give the guy a break - you got him to start waving, don't abandon his training now! Next time you see him give him a thumbs up. Bet he never passes you by without waving again! When you get a chance stop and talk to him and you'll be buddies and you'll wonder why you thought he was a d**k.
If the worst thing in my day is a Vette driver who does not wave back, I'm doing just fine. I wave, but if they don't, who cares?
Do a search - I think the "wave" subject has been discussed here before. And FWIW about a month ago there was a post on the C-6 section (or was it C-5?) saying everybody waves except C-4 drivers!

I'll certainly do that. If he waves the next time he sees me in my C4 then you're right. If he doesn't, then that tells me that he just holds a low opinion of the car. His actions say the latter. I doubt he knew it was the same person driving both cars. Either way, I just thought it odd.
Maybe he doesn't know the wave and doesn't spend time on car forums. Then he decided, hey that guy is always nice and he waves so I think I'll give him a wave.
I doubt anyone here knew of the wave until they either joined a car club or a car forum. I know I didn't.

NO WAVE ? I'd have to force him off the road at some point and beat the living snot out of him. Then I'd burn his hand with his own cigar and tell him YOU BETTER WAVE NEXT TIME OR ELSE .....
I dont think is that. The issue is that 90% of the C4s on the road are neglected and look like dirt on wheels and the owners thinks its cool to wave.
There has been few C4s that look like it is the car for the homeless center. They waved and I ignored them with extreme prejudice.
I normally don't wave anymore, if the incoming Vette waves and if I'm not flashing my eyes, not eating, not on the phone and not changing the radio station I may wave.
