Inspection Problem
I had my 95 for less than a week and I had to bring it to a local Firestone dealer for an inspection before my extended warranty could take effect. The good news is it is in excellent shape. The bad news is they shut the hood while leaving something on top of the engine.
I now have two large dimples with cracks about 4 inches long extending from them. Of course they offered to have it repaired at a shop they know or any I may want to bring it to. it. No FS!!!
Should it be repaired or should I demand a new hood? Should I find the highest estimate and demand the check be made out to me?
I think they should give me a set of tires for the inconvenience.
