Default GM CEO want gas tax

GM CEO Dan Ackerson wants the govermant to pass along a $1.00 a gallon gas tax to us little people to encourage us to buy GMs better fuel mileage cars like the thirty plus thousand dollar Volt. Like are gas is not taxed enough.

They are scum bags what did you expect?

You think that is bad? Did you hear that they came to collect the tax payers money in jets and were sent packing to save face and at least play the part if you are going to screw the people we are going to let you screw.

Nothing surprises me with massive cooperations, plus don't forget what they have gone through lately and who might really be calling the shots.

One more reason I'll never buy a new GM vehicle.

What do you expect from Gooberment Motors? They are just doing the Libitard's and Obomination's bidding to help complete the destruction of this nation.

Corporations have been doing this for about as long as corporations have been in existence. They want no competition and no free market. And some people actually believe the government runs the government? Ha

30k for a Volt
Better check again they start over 40k
You could buy the new POS Cruze it's supposed to get good gas mileage and it better because you have to take it in to the dealer once a week for the recalls that continue to come out for it (not actually enough recalls yet though, until they completely recall that entire car and get them all off the road their job is not done).

If I need a vehicle it will not be a GM product, there is always a Mopar or Ford

It is just a matter of time before GM goes down for good as they continue to make one bad decision after another. As a fan of the Corvette, I hate to see it happen but it is coming.

Maybe this is why Chevy is asking so much for the Chevy Volt ($43K). If they make the car, they can tell the public, "We're going green". Then they price the cars so high that no one will want to purchase them and will stay, "burning gas".

It's all about $$$$$

I, have a GEM car, (GEM = Global Electric Motorcars), which is in the NEV class, (NEV = Neighborhood Electric Vehicles). This is a totally, battery operated vehicle. These cars are allow on any city street where the speed limit is under 35 MPH. I live in a small town where I can drive anywhere, within the town limits, with this car, and not have to recharge it for a week or two. I'm getting ready to retire, and when I do, the big ford truck will be parked and the GEM will become the DD. The Corvette will be a weekender. The Ford truck will be used to pull the 5th wheel.

There is nothing green about any of those cars. I know you gentlemen have done your research and learned it is a BS cover up.

The battery along goes thru three different countries.

No matter what, we all are going to die.

Make normal cars lower the gas price and please resume the making of gas without ethanol. Ethanol gives lower MPG, now you need to buy gas more often.

Green?, green my ***

In this case it might be the govt. Remember that GM was bailed out and their CEO was replaced by the current one. When a lender has the power to axe your CEO, they have the power to decide who will be the "independent replacement" who will say what the govt wants them to say or they will be outgoing.

8% ethanol = 10% worse fuel economy. In this world of crony capitalism, agra-business loves it though.
