Default Climate CONTROL?????

Is there any way to bypass the automatic climate control in my 1995 coupe? The air blows cold and seems to work fine, however I am never able to adjust the temp or fan or anything else when I choose to. It seems to have a mind of its own and only occasionally lets me change temp or position control. With all the control buttons on this system, it would seem to allow the driver some measure of control for personal setting if you wish. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Sounds like your "buttons" are not operating as they should.
You should be able to adjust the temp and fan speed to any setting you want.

You should also be able to turn the "auto" off, and use the fan and vent selector manually to set what you want.

So, with that said check out this link. This might help you to fix your issue.

In addition to the link, the rubber like buttons in the front panel where they contact the printed board need to be cleaned with alcohol also.

I did this job several years ago and just did it all again because my LEDs were varying in brightness or not staying lit.
