That stop and go will kill you. I usually pull around 20 mpg but today spent a lot of time in traffic and my average was a lot closer to 15. This is in a close enough to stock 85 4+3

superchaged 93 vert w/ zf6 topdown highway: 19 to 20 mpg.
Topup flat hgwy: 24 mpg.
City about: 11 mpg
Before the supercharger I could get about 25.
I call bs to the others who say they get 30 highway

have a 100 mile commute on ramp to off ramp and back again; fill up at gas stations next to the freeway at each end...across the wide, boring, FLAT Sacramento Valley; only a few (small) hills as I drop down into the Bay Area. If I can make a clean run (no heavy traffic; no stop and go) and keep it in 6th gear @ 65 mph (which ain't easy!) I get 28 - 29 miles per gallon. 96 LT4, 6 speed (0.50 overdrive in 6th gear), stock 3.45 rear end ratio.
People just don't realize how aerodynamic these cars are (especially coupes). So I am sure that if someone was to make some adjustments favoring mileage over brute performance (and given a good tail wind), that 30 mpg is completely realistic.
And while it may be just my car, my mileage computed by gallons at the pump divided my the trip odometer mileage is always greater than the average mile per gallon (not instanteous) displayed on the dash.
I haven't cracked 30 mpg so no bs for me.

84 basic stock, round trip of approx. 125miles, 30.1 MPG.. Rainy day so I had to keep my foot easy. Mileage computed from start with a full tank and re-filled on return.. So with a light foot it can be done.. Normally average 25-26, but not much town driving here in the boonies.. LOL
