Help! NO A/C
Don't stress it. There could be a lot things causing your problem, but lets narrow down posibilities.... First, has the system been converted to R134? You can tell because it'll have the large AC fittings instead of the old style (small) fittings. Next, look to see if the compressor is cycling when you start up the car. By that, I mean when you start the car and turn on the air, the compressor will kick in and kick out quickly. If it's doing nothing at all, then more commonly than not, have lost the freon out of your system or you have a swich preventing your compressor clutch from engaging. These AC systems are simple... albiet, not when your dying of heat exhaustion in the afternoon traffic jam..... Let us know and I'll give you some simple things to do to determine your problem. Thanks
Brad
