If you subscribe to the school of thought that "if it is too loud, your too old" then yes, you will like them. I have on my Corvette. Search Youtube and you'll find a ton of them. http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...C4+Corvette+Mu

I have the baffled ones on my 85 and love the sound. I get the thumbs up all the time and its really not that loud, at idle.

A little drone around 1,400 to 1,600 RPM but no big deal to me.

I love the sound of mine but its a little hard to hear the phone at highway speed. I am contemplating headers and dropping the cat for true 2.5" duals and we will see how I like them then.

This is a C4 specific term.-) C5 forum guys say they call them straight pipes.

IMHO, this stuff is only good if you are interested in scaring people and sounding car alarms and such. I agree with the posters about old/loud correlation. "I am too old to put up with this s**t.", quoting from Lethal Weapon so you know how old I am.

Love mine, finally got the sound I wanted and their not too loud. The cats quiet the sound. People are always telling me how good my car sounds, it also cleans the under carrige up.

I got 'em a few days ago! I had a local shop fab some for $140, but they didn't come with tips so I just have some plain pipes. The sound is fantastic though, not too loud at idle, but sounds incredible when you get on it.

The sound grows on you. Makes you want to get on it a little more though.
