I also have the one from Prostreet Customs. Very well made piece. Believe it or not the car is more solid with the brace on than it is with the roof panel on. Tom builds each one to order so you wont get it in 5 days but they are worth the wait.

I have one of the C4 No Flex braces that Jason at Vette2Vette is marketing. It fits under the car and allows full access to your driveline, exhaust and transmission. It works great on my 91 Coupe.
There is an article about it in the current Auto Enthusiast magazine that I wrote if you want more info.
And no, I make no money from his sales.
saw one made out of a stock targa frame, actually looked pretty good , not sure how it worked, he cut the sides out and made two center pieces to get the stiffness back. found it, mrbonzia's

Does you're car actually flex noticably? I have the top off of my 89 about six (6) months a year and take it on the freeways, mountain roads, surface streets. I do not notice any flexing at all. I am sure it does, but nothing I can notice. Some guys say their car feels unsafe, and others say no noticable flexing. Seems to be diff. cars, not years.
When the top comes off its a different car. Rough and shake in the steering wheel and I'd like to have it off for autoxing so I don't have to duck down to fit my helmet. It's not to bad with my race tires on, with the street tires its real bad.
Hey Kimmer, I'm intetrested in one also. If you proceed forward let me know. Since they are made to order it would be better for him to do the 2 at the same time. Thanks,Rick
