how to fix flaking clearcoat on centercaps?
My rims look good overall around the centercaps but the centercaps themselves have terrible flaking. A detailer told me its not clearcoat. I think he said powder coating. He says since the centercap is a different material than the rim you have to have a different bonding process. He doesn't do wheels specifically though so I am coming here to see what type of process I or an expert does to put them back to "normal" condition? Hopefully its a cheap take off old and apply new but I think it might take a special process? Anyone done their's or know what to do? Rock on C-4'ssssss
