You'll need some straight nosed snap ring pliers. You're going to have to remove the console armrest, trim and the screws in the rear of the center trim piece that the lever is located in. Pry off the cap on the shift lever and inside the hole you'll notice a snap ring. Remove it and the shifter **** comes right off. The front of the trim just has plastic tabs that slide into a slot at the front on the radio trim bezel.

After removing the screws just slide it to the rear to remove. Unplug the electrics from underneath, flip it over, and then you'll see the screws that hold the shift boot in place. Be sure to align the tranny display pin into the slot when reassembling. Nothing about it is had as long as you have a 1/4" drive metric socket set.

The whole job including cleaning the shift window and complete R&R should take less that 3 beers or about an hour or two. If you need anything else just ask. Many on here have had theirs off and know all the tricks. Enjoy and good luck.

Trying to find a YT video to show me how to reattach the boot to the console. Any suggestions? I need a visual if at all possible.

Thanks.
