It will hurt your cheek muscles from the extra grins you get from wasting those rear tires. The other thing is that the unnatural feeling of the gas pedal pushing back at you will no longer confuse the senses.

First thing i do when i start the car is shut off the traction control. I like to be the one making all the decisions when i'm behind the wheel.

Traction control is the most efficient way to run your vehicle. It reduces wear on your tires and improves gas mileage by reducing the wasted fuel used to spin the tires at a rate faster than the vehicle is traveling.
It's also a hell of a lot less fun. Are you thinking about throwing on some new rubber soon? Yes? Flip that switch and let the smoke fly. There's nothing like it.
Also, traction control is for people who can't launch :P

The C4 traction control system is very intrusive. When operating without having the system turned on, the engine performs with a steady uninterupted pull. The traction control system is modulating the throttle every time it thinks the tires are about to spin, sometimes to the extreme, with an annoying pulsation. Since I discovered how much better the engine performs, without traction control, I turn it off most of the time.
