I went out of town and had my car parked at my fathers. Just received a call from him saying my car had been egged. He washed the car but said there are still marks. Anyone know if there is anything out there to help the paint. Why people feel better by ruining others things they worked hard for is beyond me. As always thanks in advance guys.
Man that just sucks and I hope those jerks get caught by someone that well teach then a lesson the hard way but let us know how your car turns out. That has never happened to me so I don't a clue on the best way for a fix other than whats already been stated.
Get some "Dupont Swirl Remover" and either use a buffer or buff by hand. The marks are probably in the clearcoat and will need to be removed with a light compound.. You could also try a wax that has a cleaner in it, sometimes this will remove marks on the surface..Good Luck ......WW
My car got egged 4 years ago at my girlfriends house and the marks where the egg hit are still there... The egg shell put little chips in the paint where it initially made contact and broke

And they say Corvette owners have a psych problem?
Would love to catch them on the spot! Quick "camping trip" to the mountains-just me, them, rope, duct tape and my cordless drill! Oh, and an I.V. drip, to make them last...
My father caught somebody (another ceramic tile contractor) egging his work van once. It was in the middle of winter too, the eggs froze, it was extremely messy and hard to clean up. The egger put a bid in on a job and we ended up landing the job, he got jealous/pissed that he didn't get it.
His face met the side of our work van rather forcefully a few times and he was never to be seen again.
Taught me a lesson about respect/vandalism and nothing even happened to me
Remember, these vehicles were not for the general population....cost a lot then 1953-1954 and were the "toy" of the rich white boys
Now, you may not be that...neither am I,... but the image continues and if you care about your Corvette it does look good.
Be paranoid...a little bit never hurts and you will not be in danger of anybody probing your mind.... I am 1/2 Irish and 1/2 German Jew and believe me I learned.
