If you have a lot of money and not a lot of time it's always better to buy something completed. There are some nice buys out there but I've spent a small fraction building mine compared to what the good deals cost. It has taken a long time but been lots of fun and I learned tons along the way. And it's pretty cool to say "I built it"!

Yeah, I kinda want to do everything myself. That way Ill know the specific ins and outs of my own car. I dont want an all out racer, I want a street car that can perform on the track. And no, I dont have alot of money, haha. Not yet. Im graduating college in December and when I get a job Ill reward myself with a car that I can go racing with. So Ive started my research now. By the time Im ready to buy, Ill know exactly what I want and what prices to pay...as well as what modifications I need right off the bat.
