Corvette values
When using KBB or other vehicle guides, there is no place to type in Z07. Where can one go to find the value of a 93 6sp Z07 with 25,000 miles?

Z07 is just an option, and most books don't recognize it or even think it's worth anymore on a car. Outside of forums almost nobody knows what it is, or cares. Most forum members would even have to look it up. There are a lot of "blue books" and everyone has a different value on corvettes, from cheap to unrealistic. My experience is KBB would fall in the later catagory.

True it is an option. It is a very rare option and surely with only 824 made that particular year it would be worth considerably more than a comparable coupe. I would think there is somewhere a "price guide" for such cars with certain options.

I would guess it would be a wash. A lot of todays buyers don't want heavy duty suspension or the expense of replacing the adjustable shocks. Rare options don't always translate in to big increases in value. It's a great car, it would depend upon finding the right buyer who would appreciate it.

Rare means nobody wanted it or thought it was worth the extra $$ when the car was ordered/built....with obvious exceptions like ZR1, L88, etc. which usually had more to do with the (crazy extra) dollars involved.
I mean 60 Edsel station wagons are rare, but there aren't exactly large numbers of people clamoring to buy them.

for some reason, corvette people love to throw around the term "rare" when talking about their corvette. i have actually seen a guy touting how rare his 85 was because it had a 4+3. the only thing "rare" about that is if it worked as designed - with very few exceptions, using the term "rare" with a C4 corvette is an oxymoron. the value of a 93 non-anniversary optioned, 6 speed coupe with 25K on the clock - my best, "realistic" price guess would be $9-$12K for a decent car, but condition, and some other factors would play into that...

NOT at all....The 96 Grand Sport is collectable...in my opinion...
Personally I own 6 Corvettes .....and purchased a 35th Anniv (88) coupe last year only because I always liked that car
BUT I do not think of it as ever being a Collectable...
As far as options go... I personally can only think of a few that I would pay extra for...
1.. G92 PERFORMANCE AXEL RATIO If the car is an automatic
2.. MN 6 ...6 speed trans...actually a requirement for me
3.. Z51 performance handling package (suspension)

I seriously that option would be any greater value unless it was something a very picky buyer wanted. Then the value would be whatever the buyer was willing to pay.

There are very few "rare" C4s... a Z07 is not one of them. You might find a buyer who wants that specifically to pay a little more for it, but it certainly isn't worth "considerably" more.

Doesn't #2 sort of negate #1?
