Next on your list should be a factory service manual for your 89 if you don't already own one.
If you do, then I suggest following the step by step diagnostic chart for the symptoms you describe to isolate the problem.
You should have learned by now that the random parts replacement theory of auto repair is expensive and ineffective.

What x6 said. I suspect you have already wasted more $ throwing parts than the cost of an FSM. Have you at least, put an ohm meter on the injectors?

Look....no offense, but that gave me a migraine. Punctuation, please.

You need to start by testing your fuel pressure. Attach a fuel injection test gauge to the schrader valve on the fuel rail (looks like a tire valve). Turn the key on but don't crank the car. Yes, I know you've already thrown parts at it....now it's time to troubleshoot.

Tell me what the gauge reads. We'll go from there. This should be an easy fix.

now that you mention this. what is the normal preasure reading. I like to test my fuel preasure this weekend.

because in order to my car to start. I have to open the air to the max. after that I will have to play with the gas pedal into it stady it self in about 5 minutes.

plugs/wires /cap/ rotor/ and mod needed to be replaced. the egr was not working. the old fuel pump pressure was only at 12 psi. with the new fuel pump and pressure reg the fuel pressure is with the key on engine off is 47psi. with the engine on it is 44psi. the test on the injectors. number 1 and number 7 are at 8.7 . numbers 2,3,4,5,6 and 8 are at 16.5 so it would seem that i need some injectors . but will 2 injectors cause it not to start . i can see it running rough but for it not to start at all?

If #1 & #7 are reading low ohms they are basically shutting down that bank of injectors and your engine won't run.

Try cleaning or replacing the IAC valve on the throttle body.

I had almost the same problem with mine, two injectors not reading 16.5 ohms, start but would not run long, replaced all injectors with bosch injectors. Car has been fine since, try unplugging the two bad injectors and start her, she should run but poorly I think I read that in my shop manual just in case you breakdown on the side of road or something. Good luck

You can't go wrong here. I replaced my stock injectors with Jon's injectors and it fixed my problem.
