lol this thread is troll-bait.

Several people have put them in, including myself. You can put them in but if you're taller than 5'10" it will be very uncomfortable without modifying the brackets and possibly the seat-well area. This is because the C5 (and C6) seats are taller than the C4 seats. They are also wider, which means you can't adjust them as well. I eventually had to have a professional put them in because I couldn't get them low enough and lacked the ability to modify the brackets and seating area enough.

I have seen from your other posts that you're a younger guy, and I would recommend trading or selling those seats for 1994-1996 style seats. Going with C5s is great because they're more comfortable (at least for me) but the 1994-1996 style seats are a straight drop-in and fit very well. They also hug your body better and make for a better, more "race-y", experience. If you have to have the C5 seats installed it will be the same or more expensive than new 1994-1996 style seats.

Ok thanks. I like my sport seats in my car they are just getting old and need new seat covers. But i thought if it was a easy to put in i would. You think the seats i have are worth much? The drivers side is electric and the passenger side is manual.

I have a 96 and much prefer my seats to my friends C5 Z06 seats. The Z06 seats in his car were the worst seat I ever tried to stay sitting in. I think a Church Pew would hold you as well!

A church pew sould work in my Vette. I'm a bigger guy and between the door and the console I ain't going nowheres. Maybe that's why we rarely see BIG boned women in Vettes. They don't fit. I've been to sensitivity training and they told me I can't say "Fat".

The class didn't take.

im managed to make the driver side work perfect, just torn down bracket and measured and welded 84 seat track, only did one side because im completely re doing the interior. It can be done, they fit and look well and i feel it to be comfortable. good luck!

Sure they're probably worth a few hundred. I would check out "that auction site" and the C5 parts forum. Then I would save up and have a good upholsterer redo your seats or a 1994-1996 style seat the way you want. I think that would be best in the long run. Just my $.02
