89 console side panels

Default 89 console side panels
Well after taking my torn to shred seats out. Noticed my console side panels are screwed. Broken pieces ect. Why are new console sides only available for 84-87?? Is there even any difference with the 88-89 vettes? Thought the interior is pretty much the same from 84-89, other than color.

I have wondered the same. I cannot imagine why those would be different.

DonT know the answer but contemporary corvette will and they probably have some. Very knowledgeable and trustworthy guys.
