i have a a set of stock saw blades with tires two 17x8.5 front with 255/45/17 i think thats what tires are and two 17x9.5 rear with 245/40/17 id take 250 for the set im about an hour north of chattanooga tn
Yes I could rotate them if they were the same size. What about the back spacing and rubbing because of the wider wheel.
275/40-17 on 9,5x17 rims with 56mm offset (7.4" backspacing) were factory equipment on
1988 with z51 or z52 package
all 1988-92 Corvettes (except ZR1 which got 11x17 on the rear)
1995 pace car replicas
There will be no rubbing on a '93 using one of those wheels, since there were no suspension-related changes '93. GM just put narrower wheels on the front in '93 - for what funny reason ever.

Why larger? You can drive 275/40-17 all around or 275/40-17 on the front and '93 factory size 285/40-17 on the rear.
Yeah, a common problem if you got wide tyres on your car. But I doubt that going from 275 to 245 is more than a drop in the bucket on this. My dad used to drive an Opel Omega B (known as Cadillac Catera in the U.S.) with 235/something-17 all around. Even narrower than the front tyres of the '93 Corvette, but the problem on rutted roads was the same.
