I have a 93 and would like some nicer wheels. I have found a set of four but they are all 17 X 9.5. Will these rims cause my front end to rub or any other problems without spacers or another modification?? I wsa really hoping to find stock sawblades but have been unable to as of today.
I tried to post a picture of them. Here is the Ebay list # 120797851381
I really would prefer to find stck saww blades though. Thanks for your link going to look at it now.
those will bolt right on , no adapters needed, you can get sawblades here on the forum in the parts section, just post that you want to buy them, others will respond, hope this helps. there's also stock sawblades all over craigs list. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c4-p...ht=blades+sale

Where is Hinesville GA from Atlanta???
I've got stock 9.5"x17 sawblades that need refinishing to be really nice wheels. If you are close by you could get them real cheap
Yes I could rotate them if they were the same size. What about the back spacing and rubbing because of the wider wheel. The tires are also larger on the back so it would very funny with larger tires on the front then the rear.

As you said, with your current 8.5" wheel you have 255/45-17 on front.
If you went with the 9.5" all around, you could also use the same size tires all around.
You wouldn't want to use your current 255/45 tire on the 9.5" wheel, as that would look funny.
When I went to my ZR1 replica wheels in 9.5" size, I tried to keep the stock front tire and it didn't look good at all.
The bead (where it meets the rim) was wider than the tread width.
I am using 275/40-17 on the front and still have the 285/40-17 on the rear. All 4 wheels are 9.5"
Some factory cars came with 9.5" wheels all around with 275/40-17 tires all around. It was part of one of the suspension packages.
There will be no rubbing or clearance issues with the 9.5" wheel on front. Some member even use the 285/40-17 tire all around.
Sawblades arent exactly rare- I sold my sawblades last summer for $200 for four. Maybe I should have held out for more money.
The guy who bought them had them powdercoated black. Turned out nice.
If you're willing to travel to a city like Atlanta to pick them up, I can't believe you won't be able to find exactly the size and finish you're looking for in a few weeks.
I've been looking for some 9.5" A-molds to put on the back of my car for the winter. Now that's a search!
Yes I would travel to a city like Atlanta to pick up a set. I am not in a big hurry and intend to keep an eye open. Sooner or later I will find some. It is a bit harder for me to afford allot being as I am unable to work though. I edited this as to not cause any further problems. I hope it sounds better this way. I really do not want to be removed from he site due to a true statement.
