Default 86 starting issues ??

86 does not start after being driven ( ie. Starts up then i drive to park, get back in 1/2 hr later and does not start at all) .
If the vehicle sits for a few hours it starts up fine.
Can anyone tell me what may be going on.... I will be trying to troubleshoot.

Thanks for any and all help!

You will have to troubleshoot this while it it happening, maybe you can duplicate the no-start in your driveway. Spray a small sniff of ether into the intake while cranking, see if you get any attempt to start. If so, you have a fuel problem. If you get nothing, then you need to see if you have spark at a plug wire. This should tell you what direction to go from there. There are a multitude of causes for a no-start condition.

No spark after driving could be an ignition control module problem.

Thanks agent, that is great information. I do have one additional question, can I remove cap and get to module without having to worry about any timing issues?

When you replace the module:
Clean off the old dielectric grease.
Apply a new film of dielectric grease

This aids in heat transfer/cooling of the module.
I use the silver grease thats found for computer CPU cooling.
