Obvious answer is whatever floats your boat. I am blessed with a Black 87 with a very deep, swirl free rich wet glossy finish. I have had black cars before but none had paint as "wet" looking......its not flawless but she wins lots of trophies. My second, and fairly rare color is the"Admiral Blue" offered in the 95-96. You would be hard pressed to find someone to disagree.

silver and black combinations are hard to beat.
All black if maintained like a showcar is even better. especially with modest chrome accents. (Of course that's good with any color)
If picking from the complete rainbow of colors (and if I had it to do again), I would pick Tornado Red. It's a VW color off the original Jetta's. Color code LD3 or something similar. (might have one more letter/number.
It's got the punch of TorchRed with a bit less orange (yellow). I'd put it with lt-grey or black interior.
Dk-grey metallic with dark wheels looks pretty sinister.

2 others I like are Turquoise and Copper Metallic. These are all fairly uncommon to rare colors on a Vette.
I waited 2 years to find a specific year(93) Black ZR-1(within my price range) and sold a Steel Blue Metallic to get it. I would not trade it for another color BUT I agree with your four.
If I could have two....Steel Blue again, with a blue interior this time, would be my second one.... although when there was a Copper metallic convertible for sale on the forum, I was sorely tempted to try & talk my wife into it but those usually go for a premium and it was no exception.
Black Rose is pretty sharp too.....there was one for sale on the forum... a couple years ago...that had a white interior & it was a knock out.
I also have to agee that the Dark Purple Metallic & Admiral Blue ones look pretty good to me as well.
Dark red metallic folowed by competition yellow with black interior. I also like some of the darker blue cars with black rims. They're all beautiful though. Never saw a C4 that I didn't like.
