Ok, its about 60F outside, and im trying to start my engine. corvette c4 1993. i turn the key everything checks and working, but when i want to start the engine, it starts to click and wont start. i turn the key back and front a couple of times, same thing happens then it starts. its like it starts on random. what could be the problem. i really cant put serious hours on the car now.
Sounds like a battery cable issue. Either the (+) or (-) side not makeing good contact. Clean your terminals and try it again. That would be my first best guess based on the

That's the best place to start. And remember those battery cables each have two ends - clean all 4 locations very well, and if that does not solve the issue at least you can eliminate those as the problem.

yes, most likely a bad connection somewhere.
Hope you don't have the problem I've been going through with my 98 S-10. Had for 3 years and has always started weird, Sometimes it fires as soon as you turn the key. Other times it will turn over extremely slow and then pick up and start. If it turns over slow and doesn't pick up speed, it sometimes will not start until jumped. Will not turn over for more than 5-10 seconds. Alternator charges fine
New starter, battery, and cleaned every stinkin connection I can find.

Starter end bushings may be worn & the armature may be dragging on the field coils.

It does sound like a starter....but do check the battery connections... Look close at the neg. connection at frame. common place to loose connectivity.
