There are many early C4's out there with very low miles that have been meticulously maintained. Just because it has been driven little does not mean that it hasn't received lots of attention. There are guys like me that religously change fluids, check wiring and keep everything in perfect running condition. I do this with all my vehicles. I'm the second owner of my 1985 with only 39k on the clock, but would drive it anywhere, anytime with no hesitation. Mine would not be cheap by any means if I were to sell it though. When you look at one, just try to be a good judge on whether it fits into this category. A good visual inspection as well as seeing documentation of all the service it's received over the years will be a plus. If it's had more than five owners, be leary of it especially if it has very low mileage showing on the odometer.
