Wow! Great story! What are the chances of finding the car your father owned after all these years? Impressive! Welcome to the family.

Calvin it's always nice to read a story like that. I'm really glad for you and your father that you have that BEAUTIFUL vette back home where it belongs. I think one of the best parts of the story is the relationship you and your dad have and the passion you share for cars. Not ever father and son story is as good as yours. The best to the both of you.
PS Keep the chrome sawblades they look AWESOME on your car.

Yes I like the silver [factory] Sawblades myself. I have 2 sets. The originals off my 1991 and a set on the car now from a 1992. I keep a spare set as parts for these C4s are getting rare. Im not looking to sell a set but If you ever run out of options looking for a silver set PM me as i may? let other set go? Knowing they will go to great cause. What month was your car built? mine was 7/91

SUPER cool story and an even super cooler car!!!!! Welcome to the madness that is the CF C4 section. You'll find tons of info/knowledge on here...many of these guys are practically experts on these cars and are always willing to lend a hand. Great story and glad you and your dad get to "relive" a part of your childhood, that doesn't happen very often

That is a really great story! I also have a 1991 Turquoise Vette. Years ago, we started a thread for all of us with the Turquoise Vettes from 1990-1991.
You might want to add yours to this thread:

UPDATE: Never mind about posting to that thread...it is CLOSED. Too bad.
On another note, imagine the sadness of this story! One of our Turquoise Vettes has been totaled this week!
