I did a semi zip tie patch =\ not the same I know it's there. I was thinking of buying a new set for both sides cause they are scratched up (live down a rocky road) but if I have to take it somewhere I will i suppose

Its easy to replace, just a bolt on deal. Try Vette2vette. They may even have the right color.

I've used these folks in the past and they are very good. They are basically a vette salvage yard.

I bought one from a forum member and it had it painted total cost was $100. It was very easy to replace, just some bolts and one hidden behind either the rear or front inner wheel well...I think it was the rear, other than a very east part to replace...

Yep, the hidden one is behind the rear inner fender.
Had mine off for something I was doing and thats where I found the hidden hex head screw.

Not hard to take off and put back on.
