Steering wheel

Has anyone put a 93 steering wheel on a 94 to 96? I like the older wheel more it seems more comfortable and is set up better for holding position. Will it fit. Will the older airbag work on a 94?

the wheel will probably bolt on without much difficulty, but all bets are off with regard to airbag function. You're kind of in "uncharted territory" when it comes to airbag swaps.

yeah, that is exactly what I wanted to know. I figured the wheel would bolt up, but I am concerned about the airbag. I had hopes that someone here had tried.

Even if someone got it to mount up and plug in to the wiring, unless they then got into a collision leading to the bag deploying (or failing to deploy), you still won't have your answer....

If he says so, it is so. The man knows C4's better than anyone. His memory is crazy good. I guess when you write the manuals you kinda have to know your stuff.
