Surge Tank Sensor
So I'm replacing my heater core and after draining and unplugging the sensor from the surge tank, it has a ton of corrosion in the sensor and one of the prongs came out with the plug.
Is just the sensor replaceable? It looks to be one piece. Otherwise it looks like $50-70 for a whole new tank (which is a waste as the one I have is in great shape...)

nope. the tank is easy to instal. just make sure you get the repair wire lead sold by GM to plug into the switch. when I did mine the harness plug was rotted off
