Ok this is a weird question..my passenger light will not raise correctly..My mechanic says its the Head light door module..My question is this attached to the motor?
More than likely it is the gell pellets in the motor gear box have gone bad and disentigrated. Common problem. There are 3 little hard plastic "pucks" about the size of your finger tip that are a shock damper between the motor driven gear and the axle piece that turns and lifts the headlight bucket. When they go bad, the gear will slip and the headlight will get floppy and not come up like it should. There are lots of posts here about how to fix that. It's not hard, but I don't have a link to it handy.

If the motor runs then the answers above are the way to go. If not the module is in the well in front of the driver's side front wheel. Little black box about 3"X5" and expensive for it's size.
Do you remember the size etc of the bushings you got at Ace?
I used bushings from my local ACE Hardware-$1.50 for six (three needed for each headlight). Some have used bushings from Home Depot (the part number used to be 3069987278 or 030699872787 and the part name on the package is "spacer".
I also understand that Ford power window mechanism bushings work (Advance Auto or Auto Zone "HELP" section.
The nominal size I have scribbled down was 27/64 by 29/64. Which is length vs. diameter I don't recall.

Thanks very much, I'll check at Home Depot and Auto shops!

Thanks for the info. I found the spacers at Home Depot. I re-built the motor today in less than 1 hour (a 2 beer job). Total expense was $1.43. Pretty easy job overall.
