1989 headlights
Please help an old man !!!i changed the gears out in my headlight actuators. But now the left works correct. The right now opens when i turn off headlight please help i need the heads thank you !!!

If you didn't pull the motor housing apart,
you probably reinstalled the mechanical linkage
wrong.
Remove the roll pin that attaches the mechanical linkage to the
motor drive shaft. Use the **** on the motor and rotate the
motor in the opposite direction until it stops moving.
(Turning the motor **** clockwise should close the headlight
bucket. CCW should open the headlight bucket).
Install the linkage and the roll pin.
The red arrow in the picture below points to the roll pin.

Just because you consider your self old is a poor excuse
for putting the headlight linkage back together wrong.
