Spark tester - Induction type
Although there are several ways to check for spark I wanted something quick so I would not have to pull a wire. There might be several reasons why you would not want to pull the wire off, maybe you are on the road or such. Those items have been out there for a while now.
Last week I was at the Sun & Fun air show where I always go and usually pick up all kinds of tools and accessories many times at bargain rates. I saw a spark tester and immediately focused in on it. But when he told me it was $47 it slowed down a bit. I never used the Calterm before and might have bought it if I had seen it work. But the money was too much to take a chance on and had no price knowledge of that unit.
I wondered into another booth and there was another spark tester for $3.00. Now that’s a price I can take a chance on. Got it home and tried it out on 2 cars and worked OK.
Fast forward to today and scanned the internet to see what I missed, or didn't. I did get a deal on the $3 item as I found it for $6. Still not a lot and probably worth it. Here is the link.

I also found the Calterm Tru-spark on line for $18 - $32. Glad I did not buy that one for $47
