When I did this on a C3 I had the original starter and alternator rebuilt even though they did not need it. Now is also a good time to replace the oil sending unit, knock sensors, tach filter. Good time for a rebuilt tranny and new clutch or torque converter.
If the rubber fuel lines are original, Id replace them. Nearly impossible once the motor is in there. Bottom radiator hose maybe ? Motor mounts ? Exhaust studs ? Just throwing things out there.

Ron, I really wanted to get the big tubes and intake ported.
After sinking my "power" budget back into the transmission, This will have to wait until next winter.

I used the teflon core SS braided lines. Its real easy to work with and not effected by alcohol. You can get it from Summitt. The big thing is getting the right adapters. 6 AN to Saginaw. The ones at the intake are 2 different sizes on the early TPI cars.

I have a 16mm male to AN -6 male fitting you can have just pay shipping if you can used it. Early TPI is 16mm and 14mm IIRC and the late are two 16mm.

If you'd like to save a few bucks you could use the aluminum hard line to replace your rubber fuel lines. I had braided stainless with rubber liner that I did not trust, it had been on the car about 4 years. I got a 10 ft. roll of the aluminum and use tube nuts & tube sleeves. It's a little harder to work with but at least it won't deteriorate.
