Just be sure the seat clears it. Other good amp locations are behind the passenger seat, if you don't have anyone too tall riding with you. Mine is under the rear cargo tray, where the jack and factory radio "brain" used to be, so it's out of sight.

The PO of my car placed amps behind both seats and it was the first thing I snatched out because it robbed too much room and made the car uncomfortable for me. I guess if you were less than 6' it might be a good location.

I have my amp under the seat. I needed to trim some unseen plastic on the bottom back area. I also added 1/4" spacers between the seat track and floor. I have a huge amp, so you may get away without any mods.

I had my first amp behind the seat, bit didn't like how it moved the seat forward, to clear. Still worked fine, but when I sat in there, I felt I was too close to the dash.

I'm not tall (5'9" at best), and I'm running a small amp, so it's mounted on the bulkhead behind the driver's seat. Still have plenty of room around the amp for cooling, and I can drive in a comfortable position.

@StealthLT4 Is that what that is? haha I've been wondering for awhile what that was. And @AGENT 86 I think I'm going to try that. Where did you take the remote wire for the amp from?
